One to One Training

One to one training is available at your place of work or in the library if you prefer. Please see below for some of the subjects covered in our training sessions. You need JavaScript enabled to view it the Assistant Librarian to arrange a session, the sessions can be up to an hour long.

Basic Electronic Resources

Learn how to use the various electronic resources provided by the library, access them with NHS IT systems and at home, and how to apply for any passwords or logins required.

Searching for the Evidence

How to use NHS Evidence to find clinical or non-clinical information to help you in your role. This session will show you how to find the content paid for nationally and locally as well as print, save results and use an Athens login to retrieve Journal articles.

Electronic Resources for Point of Care

The library provides resources designed specifically to get the evidence you need fast when treating a patient. This session will go through what Clinicalkey can offer and how to use it, along with other electronic resources and apps that may be useful for you will also be introduced.


Group Training

There are no group training sessions currently planned, but please do contact us if you would like to organise some training using the library resources for your department and we will be happy to help.
